About the role mission:

You will be responsible for driving the nation-wide Direct Touch business in Thailand. Your main accountability will be to deliver the topline growth, controlling as well most of the means to build the plan and deliver per it (under Margin and Cost of Sales target / budget).

You will define the growth engines for this market (Communications, Network, WLAN, Cloud), and your Go-To-Market includes which type of new channels business partners to acquire, in which vertical segment acquiring new logos, which geographies as a priority, which segment of the cloud market can our client successfully develop, and with which partners to grow the existing business partners and end-customers, with our new solutions build around their digital transformation.

You will lead and reinforce the teams to be driven towards those directions, and as well be one of the first contributor to deliver those achievements, by hunting for new logos and new business partners, engaging with new C-Level, and maintaining the existing long-term relationships as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the initiation, development and implementation of the sales strategy of Thailand. Clearly identifying business potential, short and mid-term opportunities and ensuring plans are appropriately comprehensive and effective in meeting established strategic goals.
  • Translating strategic goals into clear objectives and tactics as well as establishing Thailand business direction, strategies and integrates planning efforts across the region. Managing individuals and country sales teams to drive to meet Thailand sales targets. Working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
  • Leading, coaching and developing the sales team and individuals in a fast-pace collaborative environment. Conveying clear goals and expectations, delegating work to the appropriate level, monitor progress and redirecting efforts when goals are not being met. Maximally optimize the sales team efficiency.
  • Develop new customers for our client LAN, WLAN, IP telephony, UC Cloud portfolio in Thailand market, with a strong focus on data networking.
  • Developing and maintaining a profound customer relationship by focusing on customers’ requirements analysis and satisfaction fulfillment. Providing accessibility to subordinate employees and customers.  Anticipates problems and develops contingency plans as needed.
  • In charge of budgeting for sales teams and accurately assessing resources as needed. Skillfully managing the cost and maximize the efficiency and profitability of the sales team.
  • Advising sales teams of ongoing issues and priorities, determines course of action.  Maintaining up to date knowledge on subject matter and acts as an advisor/ to client groups.
  • Forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce.

Qualifications:

  • University education background of Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience and at least 5 years’ sales management experience.
  • A strong self-motivated sales manager with entrepreneurial mindset and appetite for challenges, with a perfect understanding of the business practices to succeed in Thailand.
  • Sales experience within a local Network competitor, selling indirectly (through channels), region wide, would be the ideal relevant experience, to take it to the next level.
  • Proven track record in Sales and contributing strategies to meet growth and profitability objectives.
  • Good relationship, strong account coverage and great understanding of local procurement regulations and process in state enterprise and government in Thailand.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for active customer management and employee engagement.
  • Excellent leadership, a motivational team player and a team builder with high level of energy and drive, to retain and attract the best talents.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Thai native with full professional proficiency in English (both orally and written).
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
