Position: Sales Manager Thailand

Report to: Managing Director

Location:  Bangkok

Job Type: Permanent

Role Summary:

The Sales Manager will lead the development and implementation of a sales and product specification strategy designed to identify and target customers, maximize sales and profitability, and ensure sustainable growth in the company’s market position across selected target market segments and product lines.

He/she will coach, develop and lead a winning team capable of growing the business and delivering sustainable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on Distribution Network and overseeing the performance of Channel Sales and Project Sales (B2B).
  • Involved in the formulation of sales plan & ensuring the accomplishment of sales target of the respective region.
  • Interfacing with the influencers of projects including Purchase Manager & Architect and winning over projects.
  • Accountable for channel expansion by new dealer appointment and creating demand in influencers.
  • Motivating, guiding & coaching the Sales Team and train them to push sales towards new product and existing ones.
  • Responsible for project tracking & retailer penetration.
  • Overseeing New Market Development and keeping track of competitor’s activities & policies.
  • Identifying & appointing Dealers & Sub-Dealers and resolving dealer’s and project clients grievances.
  • Monitoring logistics & accounts and settling the accounts of Dealers.
  • Organizing & managing development activities viz. Distributors Meet, Dealer Meet and Contractor Meet.
  • Assuring key product promotions including creating awareness amongst customers & dealers about product attributes, 100% POS (Point of Sales) for new products at dealer’s end.


  • Degree in Sales & Marketing, an MBA would be an advantage.
  • 9 to 15 years experience in Sales & Business Development in Thailand.
  • Strong experience and solid technical knowledge of adhesives, sealants and solvent cements.
  • Highly skilled in negotiation and professional selling.
  • Excellent market knowledge with a broad network of sub-contractors, main contractors, engineering firms, architects, etc.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills and ability to solve problems.
  • Proven track record on managing Sales teams.
  • Car driving license and ability to travel in Bangkok area as well as upcountry.
  • Thai native with full professional proficiency in English (both orally and written).
